A doodle that went insane when I decided to try out the "pastels" in Painter. Long story short, I loooove them.

For anyone that reads the Redwall series (and you all should, really) -- this is Songbreeze Swifteye, from the book Marlfox. She ended up a little beefier than I anticipated, but she looks like she could probably kick some tail, so I'm pretty happy.

Painter, about 4 hours nonstop.

I most certainly agree that the Redwall books are amazing. ^-^ I am still reading them too. I just got a few more to read and then I have to find other books to read but I am going to enjoy every minute I can while reading the Redwall books. :lol:

I'm currently in the process of re-reading the whole series -- I'm in my 20's and I still love the Redwall books. They tend to fire up my creativity and I always smile at the end of the books, what more could you ask for?

to tell you the truth, i've read all 18 (18?) books at least two times each in the past three years. i'd have to say they are pretty amazing. whenever i try to do art of the characters, though, it just doesn't work out :X you did an awesome job, though :D

I really got to get the book for me and read it! Anyway - I´ve gone to see the rest of your gallery and saw you´re marvelous with pretty any technique you choose. This one looks smooth and reliable plus with real squirrelly features. Nothing to point out odd - Great job!
