Anthro / Traditional Media / Drawings

Okay, after much distraction I've finally gotten around to scanning the sketch/doodles that precipitated my last journal entry. They're listed under anthro because, while they're also fanart and fantasy, they're anthro fantasy characters from written but not visual media.... it sort of makes sense to me but if anyone thinks they'd be better off in another category, let me know. Of course, they could always be tossed in the scrap heap...Confusing.

Alright, critters from Redwall - A mole and a hedgehog drinking something alcoholic, two shrews brewing stew (teehee!), and a hare absconding with lots of food with an odd looking thing in his hand that is supposed to be a pasty. I've never seen a pasty and never eaten one, but they're mentioned an awful lot in the books. Just some light-hearted little drawings (and I DO mean little, each of the 4 was done on a 3"x5" notecard) that I did one evening, just because I felt like it. They're not meant to be any particular characters, but I think they're cute at least.

Technicalities: 1 2B mechanical pencil, 4 notecards. Splotched together in photoshop with a bit of contrast. Ta-da!

This is amazing, such beautiful shading detail especially on he fur and Ambrose's quills(well you're right it's not him because they are not meant as any specific character but he seriously looks like him!). I love the hare's hat and platter of food, of course he'd be eating everything! This is so quaint and well drawn, thank you for the beatufiul sketches!

I know it's a pasty, but it looks like the hare has a taco! i have no idea why that cracks me up as much as it does...i do like the way you made them anthro tho- very nice!
